Well, well, I always knew I was more an introvert than extrovert. Very interesting article on this subject! See which one you are.
This explains why my idea of a good time is a quiet dinner or walk on the beach, and why in our culture, solitude, reflection, and minimal stimulation is devalued. Maybe you’ll see yourself here too.

I’m an extrovert. But there are definitely times when I just want to be alone to decompress.

Yes, I understand that. I am an introvert, but in the right settings can mimic an extrovert! As the article said, it isn’t about being shy, it is about what energizes you. Sometimes I like having what I already know or suspect validated. This was a validation for me! ~ Sheila

Definitely an introvert. But at times, work for instance, I am forced to be an extrovert. That is okay too.

Yes, I can mimic an extrovert’s style when I need to. What this article pointed out to me is that being an introvert is not the same as being shy, and I’m not sure I had really understood the difference before. I am not shy; I am an introvert! ~ Sheila

Depends on the situation; I’ve learned that if I am comfortable, I am more extroverted. If I’m in an unfamiliar situation, I hold back … until I’m comfortable.
But I love, love, love my quiet times…
